19m Synthesis S.60 Chaseboat

Introducing the Synthesis S.60 - A new chapter in chaseboat design

Developed by SPARK Marine Projects in response to client and crew feedback, the Synthesis S.60 introduces an integrated approach to chaseboat design, aligning performance, usability and operational requirements within a clearly defined platform.

Overview
The S.60 was developed to address a gap in the superyacht chaseboat sector. Existing options typically fall between adapted production vessels with limited operational alignment and highly customised builds that introduce complexity, cost and development risk. The S.60 defines a more coherent alternative, combining guest comfort, usability and design clarity within a platform structured for real-world use.

The Market Gap
Modern chaseboats are expected to operate as extensions of the mothership, supporting guest experience, crew operations and logistical flexibility over a full season. However, many available solutions prioritise either styling or specification in isolation. This results in vessels that are visually compelling but operationally compromised or inefficient in day-to-day use.

SPARK Approach
SPARK led the development of the S.60 as a fully integrated concept. The focus was on aligning operational use, performance targets, design intent and commercial viability from the outset. This included defining a clear use case, structuring layout and circulation for both guest and crew efficiency and maintaining a coherent design language grounded in function.

The Result
The S.60 is a next-generation foil-assisted catamaran chaseboat, designed to deliver long-range, all-weather capability as an extension of the mothership. It combines usability, guest shelter and operational clarity within a single platform. The result is a vessel that performs consistently in real-world conditions.

What This Demonstrates
The S.60 reflects SPARK’s approach to product development: defining the right solution before commitment. By aligning design, technical and operational decisions early, risk is reduced and outcomes are more predictable. This is critical where many projects fail due to misalignment rather than lack of capability.
