SYNTHESIS S.60 was developed by SPARK Marine Projects as a purpose-designed platform for the operational demands of a full-season superyacht chaseboat.

The project responds to a recurring problem: many chaseboats begin as leisure boats and are subsequently adapted for demanding superyacht-specific roles.

Our Role

SPARK defined the operational brief and vessel architecture around protected guest transfers, autonomous excursions, crew workflow, boarding, equipment handling, service access, maintenance and extended operation.

The 60-foot foil-assisted catamaran combines a climate-controlled central cabin for up to 12 guests and two crew with flexible exterior areas for relaxation, dining, watersports and yacht support.

Multiple boarding positions address dockside, mothership and water access. Accessible storage, systems routing and service areas support everyday operation, while two live-aboard crew cabins allow greater autonomy away from the mothership.

SYNTHESIS is a defined, builder-neutral platform rather than a fixed production boat.

Each project can therefore begin with the client's actual mission profile and configure layout, propulsion, payload, range and technical requirements before the construction partner is selected.

The result is a development route intended to retain the advantages of a defined platform without forcing the client into a predetermined specification.
