5.6m Multi-Role Open Tender
Design, Naval Architecture & Project Supervision
Recently delivered to a 50m mothership, this 5.6m open tender operates as the principal tender for guest and crew use.
Offering 25% more internal space than a RIB type tender of this size, the deep-V hull provides improved comfort and handling underway for up to 10 guests and crew members.
The design was driven with valuable input from the client team looking for a versatile and high-quality product with requirements for reliability, dry and comfortable handling, guest safety, watersports activities and simplified crew operations.
The waterline length and bow volume were optimised within a length constraint and low-profile envelope, to facilitate launch and recovery within the existing tender garage and crane arrangement.
Client requests and differentiating features include a removable steering-wheel and seat-back, custom wraparound fender, high-quality sound system, retractable internal boarding step, carbon boarding handhold and flag-pole, ski-pole and wakeboard rack mount, forward-facing projector light, towing equipment and soft-shackle lifting rings.
